It’s hard to believe it’s mid-January already, but here we are, so I wanted to wish you a prosperous new year in 2025 despite the doom and gloom on the news! We have many new services and tools coming online this year, and we are celebrating our 45th year in business, which was incorporated on Valentine’s Day, 1980.
As I type, we are installing a new automated cutting table capable of cutting folders, boxes, header cards, etc., without a cutting form suited to sampling and short-run packaging jobs. More to come on that very soon… We will soon go live on an entirely new digital printing suite that brings the quality up and pricing down for clients, particularly on black-only work for books, which is integrated into our software systems for more efficient production.
And finally, the big one is the new litho press install, which doubles the sheet size we can print and brings many enhancements in colour control & print efficiency. It is currently on the way from Japan, and I can’t wait to give you more detail of what it can do! So, as we try to get gloomy January out of the way, we look forward to spring. I hope business is booming and we can enjoy a great year working together.
