Heard of Brexit? (!) Thought so…

Even though we are all getting tired of hearing about it and no doubt most business owners in the UK have an opinion. It seems so far out of our control , as a result many businesses are simply resigned to the fact that Brexit is happening; and may bring challenges in the coming months.

What I mean by this is pro-activity, how many of your competitors have a coherent and well executed marketing plan?

Based on our research, not many, which means you could have a huge head start over competitors. While there might be caution amongst your potential clients you have the perfect opportunity to adapt and grow your marketing activity to ensure your business is number one on their list of suppliers.

Here are the most successful strategies to increase sales and outshine your competitors in challenging times.

  1. Expertise – help and guide clients to achieve more in their business with your expertise
  2. Focus on your ‘ideal client’ distill your marketing to appeal to your perfect client, don’t waste time and money on ‘blanket marketing’ (Do you have a buyer persona in place?)
  3. Consistency – Deliver a regular marketing message to your clients that contains valuable & useful information.
  4. Use multiple channels, don’t assume a Facebook feed will get you clients! Use Direct Mail, Email, Web, Social, Client Visits, Marketing Collateral, to name but a few but appropriately – not to excess!
