Printing & Binding
Once your job is approved, we move it to the Print and Binding
Departments, we have a comprehensive range of print and bindery equipment
installed, but it
is likely you will require the generally accepted stitched format for
binding your publication. In addition to this we can offer perfect binding,
section sewing, drilling, laminating and wirobinding.
In terms
of printing we can offer full colour print by way of our
5 colour Heidelberg press along with spot colour and mono
printing on
our 2 colour Heidelberg Perfector press. While both presses run up to B2 (520mm
x 720mm) sheets, the perfector can also print both sides of the sheet in one
pass making its very efficient on publications with a high number of pages.
In
addition to the traditional litho presses we can also offer a full
digital printing service which proves very economical for smaller
quantities. Digital print though perhaps not quite such high quality
as the litho process it does offer an extremely economic option for shorter runs
especially in colour.
